You’re right, the art style is actually really nice, and yes, the picture is pretty tame considering. However, I mostly posted it because of the person who submitted it’s description. When you first find a picture like this, it is pretty terrifying, especially if you’re a kid. Not to mention, even if what they’re doing in this picture is quite simple in comparison with what is usually posted, that doesn’t mean it’s not disturbing.

I kinda like it, but yeah, it would sure suck to discover that pic as a 6-year old.

Pokemon Black and White 2 has just been announced on Pokemon Smash, an official Pokemon television program in Japan. The sequel to Pokemon Black and White will launch for the DS in Japan this June. No further specifics are yet available regarding North American availability, new Pokemon or any battle-system changes that may occur.

This will be the first numbered sequel to a traditional Pokemon game; previous generations have consisted of two initial releases followed by a single, similarly-titled “enhanced” version: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl followed by Pokemon Platinum, for instance. Now, however, we’ll have Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2. Whether this distinction is purely cosmetic or carries heavier gameplay implications, remains unclear. All we know for certain is that, by now, the PokeRap must be several hours long.

For Pokemon Black or White players who acquired Reshiram or Zekrom respectively but had trouble convincing a friend to trade their legendary monster for a high level Patrat - now you’re in luck. Beginning March 10 and ending April 8, Pokemon White players have the chance to get Reshiram and Pokemon Black players have the chance to get Zekrom through a special character distribution via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

If a free legendary Pokemon isn’t enough for you, players can also use their new Poke pal to unlock exclusive content online at the Pokemon Global Link There they can receive a special C-Gear skin matching the Pokemon they received. Keep in mind you’ll need a free Pokemon trainer account on the official Pokemon website and to have registered your Game Sync idea to receive this C-gear and access the Dream World.

To receive these level 100 legendary monsters, you’ll need a wireless broadband connection and a copy of Pokemon Black (to receive Zekrom) and/or a copy of Pokemon White (to receive Reshiram). You also have to have fewer than 11 wonder cards. In other words, if you have 11 wonder cards in your game - which you get automatically by participating in character distributions like this one - you’ll have to delete one of them to make room (this in no way effects the Pokemon you got from that event).
